Yet another show has been announced to be concluding — this time, the CW’s “The 100.” The net announced this week that the show will officially conclude in 2020 after 7 seasons. The show’s upcoming season 6 finale is Tuesday night.
In a nod to the show’s title, the show’s creator Jason Rothenberg, said the show would end with episode 100 as well.
He wrote on Twitter: “With #The100 season 6 finale just days away, I have some bittersweet news to share: Season 7 will be our last. We are eternally grateful to WB & CW for always allowing us to tell our story the way we want to & to wrap the show on our terms. What an incredible ride this has been!”
“The 100” is not the only CW to end next season - “Arrow” and “Supernatural” are also planning to wrap up as well.
