Chio in the Morning is a local household name, having spent over 16 years hosting mornings in Philly.  Never shy about unveiling his personal life on the air, he is a proud Dad of four children, and got re-married last year to his ex-wife, live on the FOX29 TV! Chio loves hanging with his rescue dogs and spending time outdoors. You will often catch Chio during his down time helping charities like the Yo Cuz foundation, Big Brothers and Sisters of the Independence Region the Philadelphia Sunday Love Project an organization to feed the homeless and the Young Fighters Foundation Fund benefitting children with cancer. He also loves cars…especially Jeeps…and his #1 passion is off-roading!

Chio was recently reunited with co-host Shila Nathan on the new Real 106.1. Shila and Chio were teamed together at the former “Wired 96.5”. She’s also been on the air in Detroit, Chicago and New York. Shila has diverse interests from cooking to crossfit and loves to travel (and actually speaks multiple languages), but is all about making Philly her home. Shila remarked, “I’m so excited to be playing the “Throwbacks” I truly love on the new Real 106.1.”
