8th Annual SISTA STRUT 3k Breast Cancer Walk - Saturday, June 21st at Wells Fargo Center!

Philly’s 105.3 WDAS FM, Power 99 and Rumba 106.1 want you to join us for the 8th Annual Sista Strut 3k Breast Cancer Walk, returning to the Wells Fargo Center parking lot in Philadelphia on Saturday, June 21, 2025!

 

Registration opens Friday, May 2nd at 10am!

A portion of the proceeds will benefit cancer research with the American Association for Cancer Research.

It’s the 8th Annual Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk, presented by Novartis and Rand Spear the Accident Attorney and brought to you by Angels Are Us Home Healthcare Agency, Everfresh, Praise is the Cure, MD Anderson Center at Cooper, WearSPF, and Gerhard's Appliances.

WHY WE STRUT

Did you know that African American women have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women and are more likely to be diagnosed before age 40? Among Hispanic women, breast cancer will be the leading cause of cancer death (16%), followed by cancers of the lung (13%) and colorectum (9%). That needs to change! Get involved with the Sista Strut and make a difference!

 

The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their family and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure.

T-SHIRT PICKUP

This is also a great opportunity for you to pay if you opted for the Pay Later option – please be sure to make all money orders out to iHeartMedia Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or credit cards with the Pay Later option.

Monday, June 16, 2025: 12pm-6pm
Tuesday, June 17, 2025: 12pm-6pm
Wednesday, June 18, 2025: 10am-4pm

Location: inside of iHeartMedia Philadelphia Office – 2 Bala Plaza, Suite PL50, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. For GPS, you can also use the address 333 City Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Our new location is right next to Saks Fifth Avenue – please enter the building through the 2 Bala Plaza awning and our suite will be on your right.

Please note that we are unable to mail shirts – they will need to be picked up either during one of the dates/times listed above, or on the morning of the event.

You may pick up for multiple people BUT please have a printed or digital copy of the confirmation of who you are picking up for so there is no confusion. Please note if you are planning to pick up for someone that chose the Pay Later option, we will not be able to release their shirt until payment is received. Again, all money orders will need to be made out to iHeartMedia Philadelphia.
