These days there are a lot of people desperate to buy a house, outbidding each other, some buying sight unseen. Now, there's a new poll that finds many may be willing to overlook some creepy things that happened in a house because they want it so badly.
The YouGov poll that finds if a home met all of their requirements, 30% of folks would still be willing to buy the house even if they found out the previous owners had been murdered there! Just about the same amount, 32%, would not.
It's not that you think about ghosts and demons that much, unless they play a role in how comfortable you are buying a "murdered in" home. The poll also finds: 36% of Americans believe in ghosts, 37% believe in demons, while 37% believe in psychics.
Maybe if they knock $50,000 off the asking price you could overlook a blood stain on the carpet. Oh, that's creepy.
